Day 1: Dublin to Rhodes
Fly from Dublin to Rhodes.
Arrive at Rhodes International Airport and meet your tour representative for a transfer to your hotel in Rhodes Town. Check into the Mediterranean Hotel. Take some time to relax and get settled in.
Day 2: City Tour of Rhodes and Palace of the Knights
Embark on a guided city tour of Rhodes, starting with a panoramic view of the city from Monte Smith. Explore the Acropolis of Ancient Rhodes, the Temple of Apollo, the Stadium and the Ancient Theatre. Continue to the Old Town and admire the ramparts, harbour, fortifications, churches and mosques. Stroll through the narrow streets of the Old Town and see the Grand Master’s Palace, the Knight’s Inns, the Knights’ Hospital and the Archaeological Museum.
Day 3: Free Day
Free day to spend at your leisure.
Day 4: Full Day Countryside and Island Tour
Embark on a full-day tour of the island, driving along the east coast and admiring the orange and lemon gardens of the villages Malona and Massari. Visit the castle of Monolithos, built by the Knights and enjoy the panoramic views of the islands opposite. Have a traditional Greek meal in the village of Embona near the highest mountain of Rhodes, Ataviros. Continue to the village of Gennadi and relax on the beautiful beach.
Day 5: Free Day
Free day to spend at your leisure.
Day 6: Visit the Islands of Symi and Panormitis
Set sail on a one-day cruise to the islands of Symi and Panormitis. Explore the charming town of Symi, with its whitewashed houses, narrow streets and charming harbour. Visit the Monastery of Panormitis, a revered pilgrimage site dedicated to Saint Nicholas.
Day 7: Relaxing Beach Day
Enjoy a relaxing day at one of the many beautiful beaches on Rhodes. Soak up the sun, swim in the crystal-clear water, and enjoy the stunning views of the Aegean Sea. Take a leisurely stroll along the beach or rent a sun lounger and relax with a good book.
Day 8: Departure
On this day, it’s time to bid farewell to the island of Rhodes. You’ll enjoy a leisurely breakfast at the hotel before bidding farewell to your tour manager and hotel staff. Transfer to Rhodes International Airport for your return flight to Dublin.
