Discover the distinctive culture & breath-taking scenery of Austria! Stay in the ‘City of Romance & Music’, Vienna, explore the city & enjoy a concert at the Kursalon. Visit the famous Salzburg to take part in the Sound of Music Tour! Your choir/orchestra will also have the opportunity to take part in a performance in Austria.
Depart Dublin for your flight to Vienna. On arrival continue to your hotel for overnight. In the evening the group will enjoy a Strauss & Mozart concert at the beautiful Kursalon. The Kursalon, built in 1865, is a fascinating building in the Stadtpark Gardens of Vienna.
Day 2 : Vienna
Breakfast at your hotel. Afterwards meet your guide for a city tour of beautiful Vienna that can include the famous Ringstrasse, the Opera House, the Burg Theatre, Vienna’s stunning cathedral,
or the iconic Schönbrunn Palace and gardens. In the afternoon there is the possibility of attending the Vienna Boys Choir performance/rehearsal, depending on the date of travel. In the evening take part in a performance locally. Overnight at your hotel.
Days 3 : Salzburg
Breakfast at your hotel. This morning the group will depart for a full day excursion to Salzburg enjoying sites such as the birthplace of Mozart. Also, take part in The Sound of Music Tour passing by some of the areas where the movie was shot. Return to Vienna for overnight at your hotel.
Day 4: Return home
Breakfast at your hotel and check-out. Your last day is at leisure
or to take part in another performance before an evening
transfer to the airport for your flight home.
