Day 1: Malta

Arrive at Malta airport, transfer to the hotel. Check into your accommodation. Overnight stay at your hotel.

Day 2: Valletta – Citta Umilissima

Have breakfast at your hotel and join a full-day tour of Valletta, Malta’s capital named after its founder, Grand Master Jean Parisot de la Valette. Valletta is a historic and vibrant city and can be described as a Baroque masterpiece, a European Art City and a World Heritage City.

During your visit, don’t miss the Lascaris War Rooms museum, an integral part of Malta’s WWII history. This underground complex served as the war headquarters where crucial operations were planned. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 3: Breakfast, Ferry & Explore

Enjoy some breakfast and a transfer to Cirkewwa Harbour for the ferry to Gozo. Gozo, often associated with the island of Calypso from Homer’s The Odyssey, offers an amazing experience. Visit Ta’ Savina Creativity Centre to observe local food preparation. Explore Victoria and Cittadella, strolling through the old city streets and bastions for panoramic views.

Discover the Marsalforn Salt Pans and learn about salt harvesting in Gozo. Visit the Ggantija Temples and Ta’ Kola Windmill in Xaghra. Visit 2 dairy farms and return to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 4: Farming, Wine Tasting & Mdina Visit

Have breakfast at your hotel and begin the day by visiting farming families in Mgarr, known for their greenhouse tomato production and traditional artisan delicacies. Witness the processing and packing work on-site and explore the wine cellar to learn about Maltese Wines. Enjoy a local farmer’s lunch featuring ingredients from the farm, excluding bread and ice cream. Unlimited wine and water will be served during lunch. Later, visit the captivating city of Mdina, known as “the silent city”. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 5: Blue Grotto, Marsaxlokk Village & Greenhouses

Spend a full day exploring the southern region of Malta. Begin your adventure at the breath taking Blue Grotto; weather permitting. Take a boat trip into the grottoes to experience their natural beauty. After exploring the caves, continue to Marsaxlokk, a picturesque fishing village known for the traditional luzzus (Maltese fishing boats). Enjoy some free time here for lunch and immerse yourself in the local atmosphere. The day also includes a visit to nearby greenhouses where herbs, salads and edible flowers are cultivated, providing a glimpse into the agricultural practices of the area. This day promises a blend of cultural insights and culinary exploration. Return to your hotel for overnight stay.

Day 6: Free Time

Enjoy the leisure of a free day on your Malta group tour, take in the island’s beauty and explore at your own pace.

Day 7: 3 Cities Tour

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel. Today you’ll visit Senglea Gardens and Belveder. Senglea is a fortified city watching out over the Grand Harbour and the Maltese capital Valletta. It belongs to an area in Malta known as the Three Cities. These Three Cities Birgu, Cospicua, and Senglea, are famous for their massive fortifications. From there, it’s just a short walk across to Birgu, to walk through the streets and along the bastions. You’ll enjoy a short Grand Harbour tour on board Dghajsa (Maltese traditional boats) before returning to your hotel for overnight stay.

Day 8: Departure

Have breakfast and check out of your hotel. Transfer to the airport to return home.
