A non refundable/non transferable deposit is required to secure your chosen holiday. If you wish to book a holiday within 10 weeks of departure, full payment is required at time of booking. Lines are open Monday to Friday, 09:00am to 17:00pm. Or you can pay by debit/credit card. All credit/debit card payments will be automatically encrypted using Secure Socket Layers (SSL). This technology ensures that your credit/debit card numbers are not accessible by unauthorised persons and are as safe as possible. Once you have completed your transaction, your details will not be kept on our live web servers. Booking Information
The booking information that you provide to us about you (and your travelling party) may be passed on to the relevant Travel Providers of your travel arrangements or other persons necessary for the provision of your travel arrangements. The information may therefore be provided to public authorities such as customs or immigration if required by them, or as required by law. This applies to any sensitive information that you give to us such as passport details, religious beliefs, dietary requirements and disabilities. Where your holiday is outside the European Economic Area (EEA), controls on data protection in your destination may not be as strong as the legal requirements in Ireland. If we were not authorised to pass on this information to the relevant Travel Providers, whether in the EEA (European Economic Area) or not we would be unable to arrange your booking. In making this booking you consent to this information being passed onto the relevant parties.
The booking information may also be passed onto security or credit checking companies, or to our agents for the purpose of fraud prevention and or debt collection, to contact you via email, letter or phone with details of our selected Travel Providers products which may be of interest to you. A copy of your personal information held by us can be provided on request. You have the right to have any inaccurate information rectified or erased.
Any personal information you provide to us such as your name, address, telephone number and e-mail address will not be sold, or rented to any entities or individuals outside of GTI. We take full responsibility for ensuring that proper security measures are in place to protect your information. We must pass the information on to the relevant suppliers of your travel arrangements such as your tour operator, airlines, hotels, transport companies etc. Usually your tour operator or other principal will pass this information onto their suppliers once we have provided it to them. The tour operator or other principal’s use of your information is subject to their policy and is their responsibility. Please ask either us or them for a copy of this if you would like to see it.
If you refuse or withdraw your consent, or if you choose not to provide us with any required Personal Information, we will be unable to provide you with your required travel arrangements. All credit card information and personal information is encrypted as it is passed between your browser and our web site. When you make a booking, your initial payment is cleared using the information you provide. Your credit card number is not held in our database..
Booking Process
GTI Travel will forward you a confirmation invoice upon receipt of your booking.
Please check this document carefully to ensure it reflects exactly what you intended to book. Please also note that names provided on the booking form must be as per passport. Please check the spelling of names on your confirmation invoice corresponds with the spelling of names on your passport(s) (first name and surname only). These names are passed to the airlines and appear on your airline tickets, therefore it may be expensive or impossible to change if incorrect. If there are any discrepancy please contact us immediately for an amended invoice. If you have any special requests these must be made to us in writing at the time of booking (special meals, dietary requirements) GTI Travel will pass these on to our partners but requests cannot be guaranteed. Full payment is required ten weeks prior to your departure and is clearly outlined on your invoice. Failure to comply may result in your holiday being cancelled. Balances may be paid by cheque, bank draft, debit or credit card. Final travel documents will be forwarded to you by post to the address given at the time of booking approximately seven to ten days prior to departure. Please ensure you have a valid passport/visa for travel. This is solely your responsibility.
