Begin your WWII tour in Poland with a visit to Warsaw’s Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its stunning architecture and rich history. Enjoy some free time to shop or relax in the vibrant atmosphere before transferring to Gdansk.
In Gdansk, start your historical journey at the Wolf’s Lair, Hitler’s former military headquarters, followed by the Mamerki Bunker museum, which reveals the underground command center of the German Wehrmacht. Marvel at the Nazi Canal, an impressive feat of engineering from the occupation era, before enjoying dinner in the city.
On your final day, visit the Museum of the Second World War to explore its impactful exhibits. In the afternoon, tour Westerplatte, the site of the first shots fired in WWII, and reflect at its memorial. Day 1: Arrival in Warsaw
After settling in, embark on a fascinating tour of Warsaw’s Old Town. Explore the historic streets, admire the beautiful architecture, and learn about the rich history of this UNESCO World Heritage Site.
In the afternoon, take a poignant tour of the Warsaw Ghetto. Gain insights into the harrowing experiences of the Jewish community during World War II and pay tribute to the victims of the Holocaust.
Day 2: Uprising Museum and Leisure Time
Visit the Uprising Museum, dedicated to the heroic Warsaw Uprising of 1944. Immerse yourself in the interactive exhibits and multimedia presentations that depict the struggle and sacrifice of the Polish resistance.
The afternoon is free for you to explore Warsaw at your own pace. You can visit other historical sites, indulge in shopping, or simply relax and soak up the vibrant atmosphere of the city.
Day 3: Transfer to Gdansk and Historical Sites
Depart from Warsaw and transfer to Gdansk, a picturesque coastal city known for its rich maritime history.
Begin your exploration of Gdansk with a visit to the Wolf’s Lair, Adolf Hitler’s former military headquarters. Discover the secrets and stories behind this significant World War II site.
Next, visit the Mamerki Bunker museum, which offers a glimpse into the underground command center of the German Wehrmacht.
Continue your historical journey by visiting the Nazi Canal, an engineering marvel built during the occupation. Marvel at its impressive construction and learn about its wartime significance.
In the evening, indulge in a delicious dinner in Gdansk.
Day 4: Museum of the Second World War and Westerplatte
After breakfast, visit the Museum of the Second World War, a comprehensive institution dedicated to the global impact of the war. Explore the thought-provoking exhibits that delve into various aspects of the conflict.
In the afternoon, embark on a tour of Westerplatte, where the first shots of World War II were fired. Walk through the historic site & visit the memorial.
Day 5: Departure
Enjoy a final breakfast in Gdansk before bidding farewell to this captivating city.

As your travel provided we aim to give you all of the essential information about your holiday before you agree to any contract. Information such as:
- Price based on two people sharing and includes all airport taxes and charges.
- Single room supplement €175pp. If you are travelling alone and are willing to share a twin room with another group member of the same sex, we will do our best to accommodate this request, although it cannot be guaranteed.
- A non-refundable and non-transferable deposit of €250pp is required at the time of booking.
- Balance is due 10 weeks before departure.
- Price includes one standard piece of hand luggage. Extra luggage is available to purchase prior to travel (prices may vary).
- Optional travel insurance is available (terms and conditions apply).
- City taxes may apply and are payable locally at your hotel.
- Flights, taxes, prices and itinerary are subject to change.
- Your booking is made with GTI Travel (the Organiser). You are authorising GTI Travel to act as your agent, and we will arrange for you to enter into a contract with the relevant travel service provider, including airlines, hotels, insurance companies, coach hire companies, transfer companies and destination management companies.
