Begin your tour in Normandy with a visit to La Musée de Normandie and the impressive Caen Castle, built around 1060 and one of the largest medieval enclosures in Europe. The following day, take a powerful four-hour Guided Tour of the D-Day Beaches, where students can learn about the events of 6 June 1944 and their lasting impact. Continue with a visit to the Caen Memorial, an award-winning museum that explores the causes and consequences of WWII, the Cold War and the fall of the Berlin Wall.
Your journey continues with a Guided Tour of Rouen, the historic city linked to Richard the Lionheart and Joan of Arc, before enjoying a fun evening of Bowling. On your final day, explore the Musée d’Art et d’Histoire Baron Gerard, which showcases the history and art of the region from the Bronze Age to the modern day. Some free time for sightseeing or shopping rounds off the experience before your return flight home, leaving you with a deeper understanding of Normandy’s history and heritage.
