Stratford-upon-Avon Performance School Tour - Warwick Castle, Shakespeare’s Birthplace, Royal Shakespeare Company and much more..
Begin your Stratford-Upon-Avon English Performance Tour with a visit to Warwick Castle, a remarkable medieval fortress first built by William the Conqueror in 1068. Afterwards, continue to Stratford-upon-Avon to explore Anne Hathaway’s Cottage & Garden, the charming childhood home of Shakespeare’s wife, before enjoying time to experience the atmosphere of the town.
The following day, step back in time with a visit to Shakespeare’s Birthplace, the 16th-century half-timbered house where he was born and grew up. Later, enjoy the interactive exhibits of The MAD (Mechanical Art & Design) Museum, before attending a live performance by the world-renowned Royal Shakespeare Company, giving students the opportunity to experience Shakespeare’s work as it was intended to be seen.
On your final day, visit Shakespeare’s New Place, his family home from 1597 until his death in 1616, which provides valuable insight into his later life and works. Afterwards, enjoy free time to explore Stratford’s wealth of Tudor architecture, including historic buildings such as the Guild Chapel, or browse the shops in this vibrant market town. The tour concludes with your transfer to the airport for the return flight home.
