Begin your Sorrento & Rome Home Economics Tour with a Guided Tour of Naples’ UNESCO-protected historic city centre, followed by a hands-on Gelato Making Workshop where students can learn to create authentic Italian gelato. The following day, experience local culture and flavours starting at a traditional Italian food market to source fresh ingredients, before visiting a Lemon Grove and taking part in an Olive Oil Production Tour. Afterwards, enjoy a fun and interactive Pizza Making Class with a master pizzaiolo, learning the traditional art of wood-fired pizza. Later in the tour, step back in time with a Guided Tour of Pompeii, the Roman town preserved in volcanic ash, before travelling to Mount Vesuvius to hike to the crater of mainland Europe’s only active volcano.
The adventure continues with a transfer to Rome, where you can enjoy a Guided Tour of the Eternal City, taking in its most iconic landmarks. Alternatively, visit the Vatican for a Guided Tour of the Vatican Museum and Sistine Chapel, home to some of the world’s greatest masterpieces. End the trip with free time to explore Rome further, whether sightseeing or shopping, before meeting your coach for the transfer to the airport and the return journey home.

Board your flight to Naples then meet your coach to transfer for a Guided Tour of Naples’ UNESCO protected historic city centre
Enjoy a Gelato making Workshop – create delicious Italian gelato using both traditional and modern methods
Transfer to your hotel for check-in and Evening Meal
Day 2: Local Market Visit, Lemon Grove & Olive Oil Production Tour & Pizza Making Class
Breakfast at your hotel then visit a local market – Source fresh ingredients from a traditional Italian food market
Enjoy a visit to a local Lemon Grove and Olive oil production tour showcasing the entire process from tree to table
Enjoy a Pizza making class – Learn traditional wood – fired pizza techniques with a master pizzaiolo
Return to your hotel for overnight stay
Day 3: Guided Tour of Pompeii & Guided Tour of Vesuvius Crater
Breakfast at your hotel then meet your coach and transfer to Pompeii where you’ll enjoy a Guided Tour of the ancient Roman town buried in volcanic ash 79AD
Transfer to Vesuvius – the only active volcano in mainland Europe where you’ll visit the crater and enjoy a Guided Tour
Transfer to your hotel for check-in and Evening Meal
Day 4: Guided Tour of Rome or Guided Tour of Vatican Museum & Sistine Chapel & Flight home

As your travel provided we aim to give you all of the essential information about your holiday before you agree to any contract. Information such as:
- Where you are going and for how long
- The costs involved for the holiday itself and payment schedule (if this applies), as well as any tax or compulsory charges
- The mode of transport – this detail includes times, dates and places of departure and return
- Where and what your accommodation is (for example, hotel, guesthouse), and how it complies with the law of the EU Member State in question
- Cancellation details (for example, where a minimum take up is needed for a package holiday to come into being in the first place)
- Itinerary of any excursions included
- Any special or exceptional requirements, which you asked for and you and other parties to the contract have accepted
- The complaints procedure to follow if we, as the travel organiser, do not carry out as part of our contract
- Passport and any visa or health requirements
- Whether insurance is compulsory as part of your package holiday and if so, the minimum level of cover needed
As this is an organised school tour, all relevant flight information will become available through your dedicated group/tour leader. Additional information will be detailed in your dedicated login area. Once the tour has been confirmed every person (on that tour) will be sent their own specific link to login to the GTI Tour Portal where you can access additional relevant information and pay for the trip.
