The next day, explore the world’s smallest state with a Guided Tour of the Vatican Museum and Sistine Chapel, before stepping inside St Peter’s Basilica, the spiritual heart of Christianity, where history, faith and incredible works of art combine.
The journey continues with a visit to the magnificent Colosseum, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World, before exploring the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill, where ancient Rome’s political and social life once thrived. On your final day, visit the impressive Baths of Caracalla, designed to hold 1,600 bathers at once, followed by a guided visit to the Catacombe di Santa Domitilla, one of the oldest and largest catacombs in Rome.
