Paris History School Tour - Conciergerie, Musée de l’Armée, Versailles and much more..
Begin your Paris History Tour with a visit to the Conciergerie, the former courthouse and prison on the Île de la Cité, once home to famous prisoners of the French Revolution. After dinner near the Champs Élysées, explore the city further with a Guided Tour of the Ancien Régime, before visiting the Basilica of the Sacré Cœur and enjoying the artistic charm of Montmartre.
The following day, step into French military history at the National Hotel of the Invalides, home to the Musée de l’Armée and the tomb of Napoleon I. Enjoy a relaxing River Seine Cruise to see Paris from the water before dinner in a local restaurant. On your final day, travel to the magnificent Palace of Versailles and the Petit Trianon, residence of Louis XIV and later Marie Antoinette. Round off your trip with free time for shopping or sightseeing before transferring to the airport for your return flight.

Day 1: Flight & The Conciergerie
Meet your GTI Travel representative at the agreed check-in area at Dublin Airport
Board your flight to Paris
Meet your coach for transfer to Paris for a visit to The Conciergerie – a former courthouse and prison in Paris, located on the west of the Île de la Cité, below the Palais de Justice
Enjoy an evening Meal in a Pizzeria off the Champs Elysees before transferring to hotel for check in
Day 2: Guided Tour of the Ancien Regime, Basilica of the Sacré Cœur & Montmartre
Breakfast at your hotel then meet your expert guide for a Guided Tour of the Ancien Regime
Visit the Basilica of the Sacré Cœur and meander around Montmartre to soak up the atmosphere of this unique part of Paris
Evening Meal at a local restaurant
Day 3: National Hotel of the Invalides, & River Seine Cruise
Breakfast at your hotel before visiting National Hotel of the Invalides – Visitors can explore the history of France there, through the Musée de l’Armée’s collections and the Tomb of Napoleon I in particular
Experience the city from her finest avenue on a River Seine Cruise
Enjoy an Evening Meal in a local restaurant before returning to your hotel for overnight
Day 4: Versailles & Petit Trianon Palace, & Flight home
Breakfast and check out of your hotel before visiting Versailles & Petit Trianon Palace – the royal palace of the Sun King Louis XIV and his successors
Soak up some free time for shopping or further sightseeing in this historical city!

As your travel provider, we aim to give you all of the essential information about your holiday before you agree to any contract. Information such as:
- Where you are going and for how long
- The costs involved for the holiday itself and payment schedule (if this applies), as well as any tax or compulsory charges
- The mode of transport – this detail includes times, dates and places of departure and return
- Where and what your accommodation is (for example, hotel, guesthouse), and how it complies with the law of the EU Member State in question
- Cancellation details (for example, where a minimum take up is needed for a package holiday to come into being in the first place)
- The itinerary of any excursions included
- Any special or exceptional requirements, which you asked for and you and other parties to the contract have accepted
- The complaints procedure to follow if we, as the travel organiser, do not carry out as part of our contract
- Passport and any visa or health requirements
- Whether insurance is compulsory as part of your package holiday and if so, the minimum level of cover needed
As this is an organised school tour, all relevant flight information will become available through your dedicated group/tour leader. Additional information will be detailed in your dedicated login area. Once the tour has been confirmed every person (on that tour) will be sent their own specific link to login to the GTI Tour Portal where you can access additional relevant information and pay for the trip.
