Explore Normandy’s history with guided tours, D-Day beaches, museums and the famous Bayeux Tapestry.

Your Normandy journey begins with a guided tour of Caen, a city rich in medieval history. You’ll visit the impressive Caen Castle, one of the largest medieval fortresses in Europe, and the Musée de Normandie, which explores the region’s fascinating past. After settling into your hotel, enjoy a relaxing evening meal, setting the tone for the historic exploration ahead.

The next day features a guided tour of the D-Day beaches, a powerful and moving experience that brings to life the events of WWII. You’ll also visit the Caen Memorial Museum, which takes you through the origins of the war, the Cold War, and the fall of the Berlin Wall. The day concludes with dinner at your hotel, offering time to reflect on Normandy’s crucial role in shaping modern history.

Other highlights include a visit to the famous Bayeux Tapestry, which vividly depicts the Norman conquest of England, and a tour of Rouen, the historic city tied to Richard the Lionheart and Joan of Arc. In between, you’ll have time to explore museums, enjoy local art and history, and unwind with activities like bowling before your return flight home.

A big thank you from me and all the girls. For all of them it was their first time away on a trip without parents and they had an amazing time.

No drama and everything went like clockwork.

Coach: An excellent driver. He was able to advise us of times etc. The coach itself was perfect.

Hotel: The beds were fantastic and people are still raving about the showers. Having it just beside the stadium is also very handy. Overall the hotel was excellent.
