Your Normandy journey begins with a guided tour of Caen, a city rich in medieval history. You’ll visit the impressive Caen Castle, one of the largest medieval fortresses in Europe, and the Musée de Normandie, which explores the region’s fascinating past. After settling into your hotel, enjoy a relaxing evening meal, setting the tone for the historic exploration ahead.
The next day features a guided tour of the D-Day beaches, a powerful and moving experience that brings to life the events of WWII. You’ll also visit the Caen Memorial Museum, which takes you through the origins of the war, the Cold War, and the fall of the Berlin Wall. The day concludes with dinner at your hotel, offering time to reflect on Normandy’s crucial role in shaping modern history.
Other highlights include a visit to the famous Bayeux Tapestry, which vividly depicts the Norman conquest of England, and a tour of Rouen, the historic city tied to Richard the Lionheart and Joan of Arc. In between, you’ll have time to explore museums, enjoy local art and history, and unwind with activities like bowling before your return flight home.

Visit to Caen Memorial which takes you on a journey to the heart of 20th-century history through the origins of WWII to Cold War & the fall of the Berlin Wall

Visit Musée d’Art et d’Histoire Baron Gerard to discover the history & artwork of the region from the Bronze Age to the present day

Finish the evening with a game of Bowling then transfer back to the hotel for evening meal
