Begin your Lisbon Cultural School Tour with a city Guided Tour to get your first glimpse of Portugal’s vibrant capital. Visit Lisbon’s Maritime Museum to learn about the nation’s proud naval history and the great geographical discoveries that shaped the world. Continue to the Berardo Museum, home to one of the most acclaimed collections of modern art, with works by Picasso, Dalí, Warhol, Miró and many others. After settling into your hotel, the next day brings visits to the magnificent Mosteiro dos Jerónimos, the striking Belém Tower, and the impressive Monument to the Discoveries, each celebrating Portugal’s golden Age of Exploration.

Your journey continues with a day trip to Óbidos, a charming medieval walled town full of history, followed by a visit to Sintra, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its romantic setting. Here you’ll enjoy a Guided Tour of the Castle, one of Portugal’s best-preserved medieval royal residences. As your travel provided we aim to give you all of the essential information about your holiday before you agree to any contract. Information such as:

  • Where you are going and for how long
  • The costs involved for the holiday itself and payment schedule (if this applies), as well as any tax or compulsory charges
  • The mode of transport – this detail includes times, dates and places of departure and return
  • Where and what your accommodation is (for example, hotel, guesthouse), and how it complies with the law of the EU Member State in question
  • Cancellation details (for example, where a minimum take up is needed for a package holiday to come into being in the first place)
  • Itinerary of any excursions included
  • Any special or exceptional requirements, which you asked for and you and other parties to the contract have accepted
  • The complaints procedure to follow if we, as the travel organiser, do not carry out as part of our contract
  • Passport and any visa or health requirements
  • Whether insurance is compulsory as part of your package holiday and if so, the minimum level of cover needed

As this is an organised school tour, all relevant flight information will become available through your dedicated group/tour leader. Additional information will be detailed in your dedicated login area. Once the tour has been confirmed every person (on that tour) will be sent their own specific link to login to the GTI Tour Portal where you can access additional relevant information and pay for the trip.
