Discover Iceland’s stunning landscapes on our educational tour!

Start in Reykjavik, the capital, where you’ll discover the city’s unique culture and sights. Then, relax in the Blue Lagoon, a famous hot spring with warm, blue water that looks and feels great.

Travel the Golden Circle to see Gullfoss Waterfall, a huge and beautiful waterfall. Visit Thingvellir National Park, a special place where you can see where two giant tectonic plates meet.

See Seljalandsfoss, a waterfall you can walk behind for a special view and Skógafoss, another stunning waterfall often with a rainbow in its spray. End your tour in Vík, a pretty seaside village with black sand beaches and amazing rock formations.

I’ll give you a run down now & recommendations:
1. Aer Lingus: brilliant at both Dublin & Düsseldorf. Professional in every way.
2. Coach Company: excellent too. There as scheduled no issues.

The hotel was brilliant and I would stay there again. I could even recommend it for families! The coach was excellent and very comfortable, and Johann was great.

The visits went well. We were late for Montparnasse because of the traffic, so I called them and they were very nice about it. Same for Versailles castle, although we left the hotel really early. Our Sample Itinerary

Day 1: Reykjavik, Blue Lagoon, Reykjavik & Evening Meal

Morning

Board your flight to Reykjavik. On arrival, meet your coach and transfer to the Blue Lagoon where you’ll enjoy a two-hour stop for swimming.

Afternoon

On your way to your accommodation, you will get a short orientation tour (by coach) of Reykjavik. 

Evening

Check into your hotel and enjoy an Evening meal. 

Day 2: Golden Circle, Gullfoss Waterfall, Thingvellir (Þingvellir) National Park & Evening Meal

Morning

After breakfast, you’ll drive to the amazing Golden Circle, which takes you to some of Iceland’s most famous sites including the highlights: Geysir hot thermal area and Gullfoss (Golden) waterfall.

Afternoon

Visit the magnificent Gullfoss Waterfall. Gullfoss – a spectacular two-tiered 32m waterfall – which is situated in the Canyon of Hvita River.

Evening

Visit Thingvellir (Þingvellir) National Park – a great lava arena within a rift valley before transferring back to your hotel for Evening Meal. 

Day 3: Seljalandsfoss, Skógafoss, Vík & Evening meal

Morning

After breakfast, you will drive along the south coast and stop to see the waterfalls Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss. 

Afternoon

Then you head to Vík, a village east of Mt. Reynisfjall in Myrdal – the southernmost village in Iceland.

Evening

Transfer back to hotel and enjoy your Evening meal. 

Day 4: Flight Home

Morning

After breakfast the group will transfer by coach to Keflavik Airport for the return flight home.

As your travel provider, we aim to give you all of the essential information about your holiday before you agree to any contract. Information such as:

  • Where you are going and for how long
  • The costs involved for the holiday itself and payment schedule (if this applies), as well as any tax or compulsory charges
  • The mode of transport – this detail includes times, dates and places of departure and return
  • Where and what your accommodation is (for example, hotel, guesthouse), and how it complies with the law of the EU Member State in question
  • Cancellation details (for example, where a minimum take up is needed for a package holiday to come into being in the first place)
  • The itinerary of any excursions included
  • Any special or exceptional requirements, which you asked for and you and other parties to the contract have accepted
  • The complaints procedure to follow if we, as the travel organiser, do not carry out as part of our contract
  • Passport and any visa or health requirements
  • Whether insurance is compulsory as part of your package holiday and if so, the minimum level of cover needed

As this is an organised school tour, all relevant flight information will become available through your dedicated group/tour leader. Additional information will be detailed in your dedicated login area. Once the tour has been confirmed every person (on that tour) will be sent their own specific link to login to the GTI Tour Portal where you can access additional relevant information and pay for the trip.
