The Gdańsk Christmas Market School Tour offers students the chance to experience one of Europe’s most historic port cities while soaking up the festive atmosphere of its award-winning Christmas Market. The itinerary includes a guided exploration of Gdańsk’s Old Town, where colourful architecture and centuries of history meet, along with a visit to the internationally acclaimed Museum of the Second World War, providing valuable context to the city’s pivotal role in 20th-century history.
Students will also enjoy a choice of cultural excursions, either to the Westerplatte Peninsula, where the first shots of WWII were fired, or to the peaceful Oliwa Cathedral and Park, known for its stunning architecture and music tradition. Afternoons and evenings allow time to experience the Christmas Markets, where students can enjoy local traditions, crafts and seasonal food. This tour combines cultural learning with memorable festive experiences, making it an ideal option for teachers seeking an engaging and well-rounded school trip.

As your travel provider, we aim to give you all of the essential information about your holiday before you agree to any contract. Information such as:
- Where you are going and for how long
- The costs involved for the holiday itself and payment schedule (if this applies), as well as any tax or compulsory charges
- The mode of transport – this detail includes times, dates and places of departure and return
- Where and what your accommodation is (for example, hotel, guesthouse), and how it complies with the law of the EU Member State in question
- Cancellation details (for example, where a minimum take up is needed for a package holiday to come into being in the first place)
- The itinerary of any excursions included
- Any special or exceptional requirements, which you asked for and you and other parties to the contract have accepted
- The complaints procedure to follow if we, as the travel organiser, do not carry out as part of our contract
- Passport and any visa or health requirements
- Whether insurance is compulsory as part of your package holiday and if so, the minimum level of cover needed
As this is an organised school tour, all relevant flight information will become available through your dedicated group/tour leader. Additional information will be detailed in your dedicated login area. Once the tour has been confirmed every person (on that tour) will be sent their own specific link to login to the GTI Tour Portal where you can access additional relevant information and pay for the trip.
