Begin your Florence Art Tour with a Guided Tour of Florence, the birthplace of the Italian Renaissance, followed by a visit to the magnificent Florence Duomo, the fourth largest cathedral in the world. The next day, explore the world-renowned Galleria degli Uffizi, which houses the greatest collection of Renaissance art, gifted to the city by the Medici family. Continue to the Baptistery of San Giovanni, a stunning example of Tuscan Romanesque style, famed for its beautiful art and architecture.

Your artistic journey continues with a visit to the Galleria dell’Accademia, where you can see works by Botticelli, Ghirlandaio and Lippi, along with Michelangelo’s masterpiece, David. Afterwards, explore the Opera del Duomo Museum, home to treasures from Florence’s cathedral complex, before visiting the Basilica of Santa Reparata, one of the city’s oldest churches uncovered during archaeological excavations. The tour concludes in Pisa at the Piazza dei Miracoli, where you can admire the world-famous Leaning Tower, before transferring to the airport for your return flight.

Transfer to Pisa to see Piazza dei Miracoli (Square of Miracles) – home to the famous Leaning Tower!

As your travel provider, we aim to give you all of the essential information about your holiday before you agree to any contract. Information such as:

  • Where you are going and for how long
  • The costs involved for the holiday itself and payment schedule (if this applies), as well as any tax or compulsory charges
  • The mode of transport – this detail includes times, dates and places of departure and return
  • Where and what your accommodation is (for example, hotel, guesthouse), and how it complies with the law of the EU Member State in question
  • Cancellation details (for example, where a minimum take up is needed for a package holiday to come into being in the first place)
  • The itinerary of any excursions included
  • Any special or exceptional requirements, which you asked for and you and other parties to the contract have accepted
  • The complaints procedure to follow if we, as the travel organiser, do not carry out as part of our contract
  • Passport and any visa or health requirements
  • Whether insurance is compulsory as part of your package holiday and if so, the minimum level of cover needed

As this is an organised school tour, all relevant flight information will become available through your dedicated group/tour leader. Additional information will be detailed in your dedicated login area. Once the tour has been confirmed every person (on that tour) will be sent their own specific link to login to the GTI Tour Portal where you can access additional relevant information and pay for the trip.
