Budapest Performance School Tour - church performances, city highlights, the Danube Bend experience and much more..

Begin your performance tour with a guided visit to the Pest side of Budapest, where students explore the city’s iconic musical and cultural landmarks including the Opera House, the Liszt Museum and the Kodály Memorial House along Andrassy Avenue. The group then takes part in a rehearsal at Szervita Square Church, located in the heart of downtown Budapest, giving students their first opportunity to prepare in an authentic performance setting. Free time allows the group to experience the atmosphere of the city at their own pace.

The tour then focuses on the historic Buda side of the city, with guided visits to Matthias Church, Buda Castle, Fisherman’s Bastion and the Music History Museum. Students rehearse and perform at the Inner-City Parish Church, offering a memorable performance opportunity in a prestigious venue. The journey continues with an excursion to the Danube Bend, visiting the scenic towns of Szentendre, Visegrád and Vác, where the group performs a concert in either Szentendre Cathedral or Vác Cathedral. The tour concludes with a visit to Aquaworld Resort before transferring to the airport for the return flight home.

As your travel provided we aim to give you all of the essential information about your holiday before you agree to any contract. Information such as:

  • Where you are going and for how long
  • The costs involved for the holiday itself and payment schedule (if this applies), as well as any tax or compulsory charges
  • The mode of transport – this detail includes times, dates and places of departure and return
  • Where and what your accommodation is (for example, hotel, guesthouse), and how it complies with the law of the EU Member State in question
  • Cancellation details (for example, where a minimum take up is needed for a package holiday to come into being in the first place)
  • Itinerary of any excursions included
  • Any special or exceptional requirements, which you asked for and you and other parties to the contract have accepted
  • The complaints procedure to follow if we, as the travel organiser, do not carry out as part of our contract
  • Passport and any visa or health requirements
  • Whether insurance is compulsory as part of your package holiday and if so, the minimum level of cover needed

As this is an organised school tour, all relevant flight information will become available through your dedicated group/tour leader. Additional information will be detailed in your dedicated login area. Once the tour has been confirmed every person (on that tour) will be sent their own specific link to login to the GTI Tour Portal where you can access additional relevant information and pay for the trip.
