Begin your Berlin Cultural School Tour with a Guided Tour of the city, exploring how Berlin was shaped by its divided past. Visit the Checkpoint Charlie Museum to learn about the history of the Berlin Wall, followed by the Topography of Terror, which details the role of the SS and Police during the Third Reich. Continue to the Asisi Panorama for a powerful visual insight into life in a divided city before checking into your hotel. The next day, take a moving trip to Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp with an audio guide, then spend the afternoon at Tropical Islands Water Park, relaxing on its beach or racing down thrilling water slides.
Your cultural journey continues with a guided visit to Hohenschönhausen, a former Stasi Prison, often led by ex-inmates who share their personal experiences. Afterwards, explore the DDR Museum, where interactive exhibits reveal daily life in East Germany, before enjoying shopping time at the Mall of Berlin. On your final day, tour the Reichstag Building, home to Germany’s Parliament, and take in the views from its roof terrace and dome. Conclude your trip with a Guided Tour of the Olympiastadion, famous for hosting the 1936 Olympics and 2006 FIFA World Cup, before enjoying some free time for sightseeing ahead of your return flight.

Day 1: Flight, Guided Tour of Berlin, Checkpoint Charlie Museum, Topography of Terror & Asisi Panorama
Meet your GTI Travel representative at the agreed check-in area at Dublin Airport Board your flight to Berlin. Then meet your coach and transfer to the city for a Guided Tour of this formerly divided city
Visit the Checkpoint Charlie Museum to explore the history of the Berlin Wall & those affected by it then visit Topography of Terror which focuses on the institutions of the SS & Police in the Third Reich Visit the Asisi Panorama to see what life was like while the Berlin Wall stood
Before transfer to your hotel for check-in & Evening Meal
Day 2: Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp & Tropical Islands Water Park
Breakfast at your hotel then visit Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp with audio guide
Spend the afternoon enjoying the Tropical Islands Water Park – chilling out on the beach by its tropical sea & enjoying the pure adrenalin rush of the water slides
Evening Meal at local restaurant before returning to your hotel
Day 3: Hohenschönhausen Stasi Prison, DDR Museum & Mall of Berlin
Breakfast at your hotel then visit Hohenschönhausen – a former Stasi Prison for a fascinating guided tour often conducted by a former inmate
Visit the DDR Museum which shows the daily life in East Germany (Deutsche Demokratische Republik) in a direct hands-on way
Spend time at the Mall of Berlin with more than 200 shops spread over 76,000m² of retail space before enjoying an Evening Meal at local restaurant and returning to your hotel
Day 4: Reichstag Building, Olympiastadion & Flight home
Breakfast and check out of your hotel then visit the National Parliament of the Federal Republic of Germany in the Reichstag Building. See the roof terrace & dome which offer spectacular views of Berlin’s sights
Then enjoy a Guided Tour of the Olympiastadion – host to the 1936 Olympics & 2006 FIFA World Cup
Enjoy some free time for further sightseeing in this fascinating city before transferring to the airport for your flight home

As your travel provider, we aim to give you all of the essential information about your holiday before you agree to any contract. Information such as:
- Where you are going and for how long
- The costs involved for the holiday itself and payment schedule (if this applies), as well as any tax or compulsory charges
- The mode of transport – this detail includes times, dates and places of departure and return
- Where and what your accommodation is (for example, hotel, guesthouse), and how it complies with the law of the EU Member State in question
- Cancellation details (for example, where a minimum take up is needed for a package holiday to come into being in the first place)
- The itinerary of any excursions included
- Any special or exceptional requirements, which you asked for and you and other parties to the contract have accepted
- The complaints procedure to follow if we, as the travel organiser, do not carry out as part of our contract
- Passport and any visa or health requirements
- Whether insurance is compulsory as part of your package holiday and if so, the minimum level of cover needed
As this is an organised school tour, all relevant flight information will become available through your dedicated group/tour leader. Additional information will be detailed in your dedicated login area. Once the tour has been confirmed every person (on that tour) will be sent their own specific link to login to the GTI Tour Portal where you can access additional relevant information and pay for the trip.
