Your Barcelona Cultural Tour begins with a Guided Tour of the city, taking in highlights such as Plaça Cataluna, the Christopher Columbus Monument, the Montjuïc area, La Sagrada Familia and Las Ramblas. From your base in Salou, travel to Tarragona to explore the Circo Romano, an ancient racing arena built for Emperor Domitian in the first century AD, complete with fascinating underground Roman tunnels. You’ll also enjoy some free time for shopping or sightseeing before experiencing a fun 2-hour cycle along the Costa Dorada between Cambrils and Salou.
The excitement continues with a full day at Port Aventura Theme Park, one of Europe’s very best for rides and entertainment. On your final day, return to Barcelona to visit the impressive CosmoCaixa Science Museum and visit the RCD Espanyol Stadium, home to the city’s RCD Espanyol football team. Round off your tour with some free time in this vibrant city for shopping or sightseeing before heading to the airport for your flight home.

Day 1: Flight, Guided Tour of Barcelona (Plaça Cataluna, Christopher Columbus Monument, Montjuïc, La Sagrada Familia & Las Ramblas)
Meet your GTI Travel representative at the agreed check-in area at Dublin Airport Board your flight to Barcelona / Reus

Transfer to Salou for your hotel check-in and evening meal
Day 2: Circo Romano, 2-hour cycle along the Costa Dorada between Cambrils & Salou

Breakfast and check out of your hotel then transfer to Barcelona to explore CosmoCaixa Science Museum – one of the most renowned Science Museums in Europe
Visit the RCD Espanyol Stadium, home to the city’s RCD Espanyol football team
Finish up your tour with some free time in this beautiful city for some shopping or more sight-seeing Transfer to the airport for your flight home

As your travel provided we aim to give you all of the essential information about your holiday before you agree to any contract. Information such as:
- Where you are going and for how long
- The costs involved for the holiday itself and payment schedule (if this applies), as well as any tax or compulsory charges
- The mode of transport – this detail includes times, dates and places of departure and return
- Where and what your accommodation is (for example, hotel, guesthouse), and how it complies with the law of the EU Member State in question
- Cancellation details (for example, where a minimum take up is needed for a package holiday to come into being in the first place)
- Itinerary of any excursions included
- Any special or exceptional requirements, which you asked for and you and other parties to the contract have accepted
- The complaints procedure to follow if we, as the travel organiser, do not carry out as part of our contract
- Passport and any visa or health requirements
- Whether insurance is compulsory as part of your package holiday and if so, the minimum level of cover needed
As this is an organised school tour, all relevant flight information will become available through your dedicated group/tour leader. Additional information will be detailed in your dedicated login area. Once the tour has been confirmed every person (on that tour) will be sent their own specific link to login to the GTI Tour Portal where you can access additional relevant information and pay for the trip.
