Athens Classical Studies School Tour - Acropolis and Parthenon, Ancient Corinth, Delphi Theatre and much more..
Begin your journey in Athens with a Guided Tour of the city, where you will explore the Acropolis and see the magnificent Parthenon, the temple dedicated to the goddess Athena. This is followed by a full day in Argolis where you will marvel at the engineering of the Corinth Canal, walk among the ruins of Ancient Corinth and its Temple, and continue on to Mycenae, the legendary kingdom of Agamemnon. The day concludes with a visit to Nafplion, the oldest city in Greece, known for its beauty and history.
Your tour continues with a full day trip to Delphi, once considered the centre of the ancient world. Here you will explore the Delphi Theatre, the sacred Temple of Apollo, and the Museum of Delphi, home to treasures such as the Naxian Sphinx and the Statue of Antinoos. With free time on your final day for relaxation or shopping, this tour combines unforgettable visits to some of Greece’s most famous classical sites with a real insight into ancient history and mythology.

Day 1: Flight, Transfer, Evening Meal
Meet your GTI Travel representative at agreed check-in area at Dublin Airport
Board your flight to Athens
Meet your coach & transfer to your hotel for check in and evening meal
Day 2: Guided Tour, Acropolis, Parthenon & Evening Meal
Breakfast at your hotel then board your coach to transfer into Athens for a Guided Tour.
Visit the Acropolis – an ancient citadel containing the remains of several ancient buildings & the Parthenon a temple dedicated to the goddess Athena.
Meet your coach and return to your hotel for Evening Meal.
Day 3: Full Day Argolis Tour, Corinth Canal, Ancient Corinth, Mycenae & Evening Meal
Breakfast at your hotel then board your coach for a Full Day Argolis Tour.
Visit the Corinth Canal, Ancient Corinth & its Temple.
Visit Mycenae – kingdom of mythical Agamemnon then visit Nafplion – the most ancient city in Greece.
Meet your coach and return to your hotel for Evening Meal.
Day 4: Full Day Tour to Delphi, Delphi Theatre, Temple of Apollo, Museum of Delphi & Evening Meal
Breakfast at your hotel then board your coach to enjoy a Full Day Tour to Delphi.
Visit the famous Delphi Theatre to get an insight into the world of the Ancient Greeks.
Visit the Temple of Apollo, Tour the Museum of Delphi which covers the Mycenaean era to the Greco-Roman times. See the Naxian Sphinx & Statue of Antinoos.
Meet your coach and return to your hotel for Evening Meal.
Day 5: Transfer & Flight Home
Breakfast at your hotel then enjoy some free time before meeting your coach to transfer to the airport.
Check in for your return flight home.

As your travel provider, we aim to give you all of the essential information about your holiday before you agree to any contract. Information such as:
- Where you are going and for how long
- The costs involved for the holiday itself and payment schedule (if this applies), as well as any tax or compulsory charges
- The mode of transport – this detail includes times, dates and places of departure and return
- Where and what your accommodation is (for example, hotel, guesthouse), and how it complies with the law of the EU Member State in question
- Cancellation details (for example, where a minimum take up is needed for a package holiday to come into being in the first place)
- The itinerary of any excursions included
- Any special or exceptional requirements, which you asked for and you and other parties to the contract have accepted
- The complaints procedure to follow if we, as the travel organiser, do not carry out as part of our contract
- Passport and any visa or health requirements
- Whether insurance is compulsory as part of your package holiday and if so, the minimum level of cover needed
As this is an organised school tour, all relevant flight information will become available through your dedicated group/tour leader. Additional information will be detailed in your dedicated login area. Once the tour has been confirmed every person (on that tour) will be sent their own specific link to login to the GTI Tour Portal where you can access additional relevant information and pay for the trip.
