Begin your Andalucía Sport Tour with a Guided Tour of Malaga, discovering highlights such as Malaga Cathedral, known as La Manquita, and the historic La Alcazaba fortress palace. After settling into your hotel, take part in your first evening training session at a local team’s facilities. The following day, put your skills to the test in a friendly match against local opposition, before exploring the incredible Nerja Caves, a spectacular natural wonder dating back five million years. Afterwards, spend time in the charming seaside town of Nerja, known for its old town streets, balconies and beachside atmosphere.
The tour continues with a Guided Tour of Granada, a city rich in multicultural history, followed by a visit to Parque de las Ciencias, a huge interactive science museum. In the evening, return to the pitch for another training session at a local team’s facilities. On your final day, ride the Teleférico Benalmádena Cable Car for stunning views of the Costa del Sol, Sierra Nevada, Gibraltar and even the African coast, before finishing with a Guided Tour of La Rosaleda Stadium, home of Malaga FC. Conclude your trip with some free time for sightseeing or shopping before transferring to the airport for your flight home.

Day 1: Flight, Guided Tour of Malaga, Malaga’s Cathedral, La Alcazaba & Evening training session
Meet your GTI Travel representative at the agreed check-in area at Dublin Airport and board your flight to Malaga
Meet your coach and enjoy a Guided Tour of Malaga – a world away from the adjoining Costa del Sol
Visit Malaga’s Cathedral nicknamed La Manquita (literally ‘one-handed’) and then explore La Alcazaba – the city’s famous fortress palace
Transfer to your hotel for check in and evening meal
Enjoy an evening training session at a local team’s facilities
Day 2: Friendly match, Nerja Caves & Nerja
Breakfast at your hotel then depart for a friendly match against local opposition
Visit Nerja Caves -discovered by lucky coincidence by a group of friends searching for bats!
It is one of the most spectacular caves in Spain dating back 5 million years!
Spend time in Nerja – a unique beach town whose old town centre has pedestrian pathways lined with restaurants and balconies before transferring to your hotel for check in and evening meal
Day 3: Guided Tour of Granada, Parque de la Ciencias & Evening training session
Breakfast at your hotel then depart for a guided tour of Granada in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains, a city with a rich multicultural history
Visit Parque de la Ciencias – Granada’s interactive 70,000m2 Science Museum
Return to your hotel for evening meal
Enjoy an evening training session at a local team’s facilities
Day 4: Teleferico Benalmadena Cable Car, La Rosaleda Stadium Tour & Flight home
Breakfast at your hotel then enjoy a ride on board the Teleferico Benalmadena Cable Car for fantastic views of the Costa del Sol, Sierra Nevada & even Gibraltar or the African Coast
Visit La Rosaleda for a guided tour of Malaga Football Stadium
Enjoy some free time for further sightseeing or shopping in this fascinating city before transferring to the airport for your flight home

As your travel provider, we aim to give you all of the essential information about your holiday before you agree to any contract. Information such as:
- Where you are going and for how long
- The costs involved for the holiday itself and payment schedule (if this applies), as well as any tax or compulsory charges
- The mode of transport – this detail includes times, dates and places of departure and return
- Where and what your accommodation is (for example, hotel, guesthouse), and how it complies with the law of the EU Member State in question
- Cancellation details (for example, where a minimum take up is needed for a package holiday to come into being in the first place)
- The itinerary of any excursions included
- Any special or exceptional requirements, which you asked for and you and other parties to the contract have accepted
- The complaints procedure to follow if we, as the travel organiser, do not carry out as part of our contract
- Passport and any visa or health requirements
- Whether insurance is compulsory as part of your package holiday and if so, the minimum level of cover needed
As this is an organised school tour, all relevant flight information will become available through your dedicated group/tour leader. Additional information will be detailed in your dedicated login area. Once the tour has been confirmed every person (on that tour) will be sent their own specific link to login to the GTI Tour Portal where you can access additional relevant information and pay for the trip.
