Begin your tour in Normandy with a visit to La Musée de Normandie and the impressive Caen Castle, built around 1060 and one of the largest medieval enclosures in Europe. The following day, take a powerful four-hour Guided Tour of the D-Day Beaches, where students can learn about the events of 6 June 1944 and their lasting impact. Continue with a visit to the Caen Memorial, an award-winning museum that explores the causes and consequences of WWII, the Cold War and the fall of the Berlin Wall.
Your journey continues with a Guided Tour of Rouen, the historic city linked to Richard the Lionheart and Joan of Arc, before enjoying a fun evening of Bowling. On your final day, explore the Musée d’Art et d’Histoire Baron Gerard, which showcases the history and art of the region from the Bronze Age to the modern day. Some free time for sightseeing or shopping rounds off the experience before your return flight home, leaving you with a deeper understanding of Normandy’s history and heritage.

Day 1: Visit La Musée de Normandie and Caen Castle & evening meal.
Meet your GTI Travel representative at the agreed check-in area at Dublin Airport
Board your flight and then meet your coach to visit La Musée de Normandie & Caen Castle built around 1060, one of the largest medieval enclosures in Europe
Transfer to your hotel to check-in and for evening meal
Day 2: Guided tour of D-Day beaches, Caen Memorial & evening meal.
Breakfast at your hotel then a 4 hour Guided Tour of the D-Day Beaches
Visit to Caen Memorial which takes you on a journey to the heart of 20th-century history through the origins of WWII to Cold War & the fall of the Berlin Wall
Transfer to your hotel for evening meal
Day 3: Guided tour of Rouen, Bowling & Evening Meal.
Breakfast at your hotel then enjoy a Guided Tour of Rouen – the historic city famous for its connection to Richard the Lionheart & Joan of Arc
Finish the evening with a game of Bowling then transfer back to the hotel for evening meal
Day 4: Musée d'Art et d'Histoire Baron Gerard, Free Time & Flight Home.
Breakfast at your hotel before visiting Musée d’Art et d’Histoire Baron Gerard to discover the history & artwork of the region from the Bronze Age to the present day

As your travel provided we aim to give you all of the essential information about your holiday before you agree to any contract. Information such as:
- Where you are going and for how long
- The costs involved for the holiday itself and payment schedule (if this applies), as well as any tax or compulsory charges
- The mode of transport – this detail includes times, dates and places of departure and return
- Where and what your accommodation is (for example, hotel, guesthouse), and how it complies with the law of the EU Member State in question
- Cancellation details (for example, where a minimum take up is needed for a package holiday to come into being in the first place)
- Itinerary of any excursions included
- Any special or exceptional requirements, which you asked for and you and other parties to the contract have accepted
- The complaints procedure to follow if we, as the travel organiser, do not carry out as part of our contract
- Passport and any visa or health requirements
- Whether insurance is compulsory as part of your package holiday and if so, the minimum level of cover needed
As this is an organised school tour, all relevant flight information will become available through your dedicated group/tour leader. Additional information will be detailed in your dedicated login area. Once the tour has been confirmed every person (on that tour) will be sent their own specific link to login to the GTI Tour Portal where you can access additional relevant information and pay for the trip.
