Attend the emotive Last Post at the Menin Gate – the traditional final salute to the fallen

Breakfast at your hotel before transferring to visit the Passchendaele Memorial Museum to increase the students’ understanding of the happenings & effects of WWI
Afternoon
Follow in the footsteps of WWI soldiers on the Platoon Experience where the students are fully equipped as an Australian soldier for the day: uniform, equipment, rifle & meal

Evening Meal in local restaurant before transferring to your hotel

Breakfast and check out of your hotel before visiting Essex Farm Cemetery where Lt-Col John McCrae wrote ‘In Flanders Field’
Visit the Sanctuary Wood Museum (Hill 62) – one of the few places on Battlefields where an original trench layout can be seen
Afternoon
Visit the Island of Ireland Peace Park – a Memorial to the soldiers of Ireland who died, were wounded or are missing from WWI then visit the Hooge Crater Museum which contains a unique collection of First World War uniforms, displays & military artefacts
Evening
Transfer to airport for your flight home
