Explore WWI museums, memorials, ceremonies and honour fallen soldiers

Your Ypres and Paris journey begins at Dublin Airport, where you’ll meet your GTI Travel representative before flying to Ypres. Upon arrival, visit the In Flanders Field Museum for insights into World War I, followed by a moving evening meal and the Last Post ceremony at the Menin Gate, honoring fallen soldiers.

The next day includes a visit to the Passchendaele Memorial Museum and the unique Platoon Experience, where students get a taste of life as Australian soldiers. After dinner at a local restaurant, you’ll return to your hotel for the night.

On your final day, explore Essex Farm Cemetery, where “In Flanders Fields” was written, and the Sanctuary Wood Museum, showcasing original trench layouts. You’ll also visit the Island of Ireland Peace Park and the Hooge Crater Museum, which houses fascinating military artefacts, before heading to the airport for your flight home.
