Begin your adventure with a Guided Tour of Vienna, taking in the grand sights along the famous Ringstrasse including the State Opera House and the former Habsburg winter residence. Explore the impressive Museum Quarter and the Museum of Fine Arts before settling into your hotel for your evening meal and overnight stay. The next day brings visits to the beautiful Schönbrunn Palace, once the summer home of the Habsburgs, and the magnificent Melk Abbey, an architectural masterpiece built upon the foundations of a medieval monastery.

Continue on to Salzburg, where a Guided Walking Tour will introduce you to highlights such as the Mirabell Garden and Pegasus Fountain, Nonnberg Convent, Schloss Leopoldskron, and the famous Mozart’s Birthplace. You will even have the chance to sing in the Salzburg Dom. On your final day, enjoy a magical ‘Sound of Music’ Tour through breathtaking Austrian landscapes, before discovering the playful fountains of Hellbrunn Castle. Conclude your trip with unforgettable memories before transferring to the airport for your flight home.

As your travel provided we aim to give you all of the essential information about your holiday before you agree to any contract. Information such as:

  • Where you are going and for how long
  • The costs involved for the holiday itself and payment schedule (if this applies), as well as any tax or compulsory charges
  • The mode of transport – this detail includes times, dates and places of departure and return
  • Where and what your accommodation is (for example, hotel, guesthouse), and how it complies with the law of the EU Member State in question
  • Cancellation details (for example, where a minimum take up is needed for a package holiday to come into being in the first place)
  • Itinerary of any excursions included
  • Any special or exceptional requirements, which you asked for and you and other parties to the contract have accepted
  • The complaints procedure to follow if we, as the travel organiser, do not carry out as part of our contract
  • Passport and any visa or health requirements
  • Whether insurance is compulsory as part of your package holiday and if so, the minimum level of cover needed

As this is an organised school tour, all relevant flight information will become available through your dedicated group/tour leader. Additional information will be detailed in your dedicated login area. Once the tour has been confirmed every person (on that tour) will be sent their own specific link to login to the GTI Tour Portal where you can access additional relevant information and pay for the trip.
