Start your Sorrento & Rome tour by meeting your GTI Travel representative at Dublin Airport before flying to Naples. Upon arrival, enjoy a guided tour of Naples’ UNESCO-protected historic city center, followed by an exploration of the Borbonico Tunnels, which reveal five centuries of the city’s history, from ancient aqueducts to WWII military shelters. Afterward, check in to your hotel for dinner.
The next day, visit Pompeii for a guided tour of the ancient Roman town, frozen in time by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD. Afterward, journey to Vesuvius itself for a guided tour of the crater. In the evening, return to your hotel for check-in and dinner.
On your third day, travel by ferry to the stunning isle of Capri, where you’ll see the famous Blue Grotto. Afterward, transfer to Fiuggi, known for its thermal baths, for dinner and overnight accommodation. The final day includes a guided tour of Rome, a visit to the Vatican Museum and the Sistine Chapel, and some free time for sightseeing or shopping. Conclude your journey with a transfer to the airport for your return flight home.

Day 2: Transfer to Pompeii for a guided tour, Visit Mount Vesuvius for a guided tour & evening meal

Breakfast at your hotel then meet your coach and transfer to Pompeii where you’ll enjoy a Guided Tour of the ancient Roman town buried in volcanic ash 79AD
Afternoon
Transfer to Vesuvius – the only active volcano in mainland Europe where you’ll visit the crater and enjoy a Guided Tour

Day 3: Transfer to the Ferry Terminal, Visit the Blue Grotto on Capri & evening meal

As your travel provided we aim to give you all of the essential information about your holiday before you agree to any contract. Information such as:
- Where you are going and for how long
- The costs involved for the holiday itself and payment schedule (if this applies), as well as any tax or compulsory charges
- The mode of transport – this detail includes times, dates and places of departure and return
- Where and what your accommodation is (for example, hotel, guesthouse), and how it complies with the law of the EU Member State in question
- Cancellation details (for example, where a minimum take up is needed for a package holiday to come into being in the first place)
- Itinerary of any excursions included
- Any special or exceptional requirements, which you asked for and you and other parties to the contract have accepted
- The complaints procedure to follow if we, as the travel organiser, do not carry out as part of our contract
- Passport and any visa or health requirements
- Whether insurance is compulsory as part of your package holiday and if so, the minimum level of cover needed
As this is an organised school tour, all relevant flight information will become available through your dedicated group/tour leader. Additional information will be detailed in your dedicated login area. Once the tour has been confirmed every person (on that tour) will be sent their own specific link to login to the GTI Tour Portal where you can access additional relevant information and pay for the trip.
