Begin your Edinburgh Science Tour with a guided tour of the city before visiting Holyrood Palace, the official residence of the British monarch in Scotland, complete with an audio guide. Continue with a walk up Arthur’s Seat, an ancient volcano offering fantastic views across Edinburgh, then step into history with a thrilling visit to the Edinburgh Dungeons, where live shows and rides bring 1,000 years of Scotland’s past to life. In Glasgow, explore the People’s Palace, a fascinating social history museum, followed by the hands-on exhibits of the Glasgow Science Centre or a visit to the Scottish Football Museum and a guided tour of Hampden Park, Scotland’s national stadium. Round off the evening with some winter fun at SnowFactor, trying sledging and ice-sliding before returning to your hotel.
The learning continues with a visit to the National Museum of Scotland, home to everything from ancient fossils to world culture exhibits, including the famous Dolly the Sheep. Afterwards, experience an unforgettable journey through 15,000 million years of Earth’s history at Dynamic Earth, complete with interactive exhibits and a spectacular high-definition film in the 360° Show Dome. This mix of science, history and culture makes for an unforgettable trip, concluding with your transfer to the airport for your return flight home.
