Begin your Dublin History Tour with a guided visit to Kilmainham Gaol, one of the largest unoccupied prisons in Europe and a site that witnessed many of the heroic and tragic events in Ireland’s struggle for independence. Step aboard the Jeanie Johnston Tall Ship to follow in the footsteps of famine emigrants before exploring the lively Grafton Street and St Stephen’s Green. The next morning, discover the award-winning EPIC – The Irish Emigration Museum, then take a stroll through the stunning grounds of Trinity College Dublin. In the evening, enjoy the option of a show at the Bord Gáis Theatre.
On your final day, uncover centuries of Irish history at Dublin Castle, before exploring the world-renowned treasures of the Chester Beatty Library. Afterwards, travel back in time at Dublinia, where you’ll walk in the footsteps of Vikings, step into Medieval Dublin, and even climb an original Medieval tower. Meet your coach at the school and depart to Dublin
Start your trip with a guided visit to Kilmainham Gaol – one of the largest unoccupied jails in Europe. From 1796 – 1924, it witnessed some of the most heroic and tragic events in Ireland’s emergence as a modern nation
Step onboard the Jeanie Johnson Tall Ship and follow in the footsteps of those who fled the famine
Check in to your hotel before exploring the iconic Grafton Street and Stephens Green
Day 2: EPIC- The Irish Emigration Museum, Trinity College Dublin & Bord Gais Theatre
Breakfast at your hotel before visiting EPIC- The Irish Emigration Museum. This is an experience like no other and a must do when visiting Dublin
Stroll through the grounds of Trinity College Dublin to get a feel for the stunning campus
Enjoy an optional evening show at the Bord Gais Theatre
Day 3: Dublin Castle, Chester Beatty Library, Dublinia & Journey back home
Breakfast at your hotel before discovering one of the most important buildings in Irish history- Dublin Castle
Afterwards, visit the Chester Beatty Library – which has been described as the best museum in Ireland
After lunch, travel back to Viking and Medieval times at Dublinia, in the heart of the old city at Christchurch. Walk where Vikings walked before, step into Medieval Viking Dublin and even climb an original Medieval tower

As your travel provider, we aim to give you all of the essential information about your holiday before you agree to any contract. Information such as:
- Where you are going and for how long
- The costs involved for the holiday itself and payment schedule (if this applies), as well as any tax or compulsory charges
- The mode of transport – this detail includes times, dates and places of departure and return
- Where and what your accommodation is (for example, hotel, guesthouse), and how it complies with the law of the EU Member State in question
- Cancellation details (for example, where a minimum take up is needed for a package holiday to come into being in the first place)
- The itinerary of any excursions included
- Any special or exceptional requirements, which you asked for and you and other parties to the contract have accepted
- The complaints procedure to follow if we, as the travel organiser, do not carry out as part of our contract
- Passport and any visa or health requirements
- Whether insurance is compulsory as part of your package holiday and if so, the minimum level of cover needed
As this is an organised school tour, all relevant flight information will become available through your dedicated group/tour leader. Additional information will be detailed in your dedicated login area. Once the tour has been confirmed every person (on that tour) will be sent their own specific link to login to the GTI Tour Portal where you can access additional relevant information and pay for the trip.
