Discover the magic of Norway’s Arctic capital on this unforgettable 4-day short break. Begin your journey with a visit to the fascinating Polar Museum, uncovering stories of Arctic explorers and life in the far north. The adventure continues with an exhilarating reindeer sledding ride and an immersive Sami cultural experience, complete with storytelling, reindeer encounters, and a traditional meal. In the evening, set out on a private guided excursion to witness the dazzling Northern Lights, one of nature’s greatest wonders. With direct flights from Dublin, a central 3* hotel, private transfers, and expert local guides, this carefully designed tour combines comfort, culture, and once-in-a-lifetime adventure.

Our Sample Itinerary
Day 1: Dublin - Tromsø
Fly direct from Dublin to Tromsø, arriving late morning. Transfer by private coach to your hotel for check-in (luggage storage available if rooms are not ready). In the afternoon visit the Polar Museum, dedicated to Arctic exploration and culture. Evening free at leisure. Overnight at the 3* Scandic Grand Tromsø.
Day 2: Reindeer Sledding, Sami Culture & Northern Lights
Enjoy breakfast before setting out for a thrilling reindeer sledding adventure and a memorable Sami cultural experience. Glide through snowy landscapes on a traditional sled, feed the reindeer, and learn about Sami life, folklore, and traditions while enjoying a hot meal in a lavvu (Sami tent). Return to Tromsø for an afternoon at leisure. In the evening, embark on a private Northern Lights excursion by coach with a local guide, heading away from the city lights in search of the Aurora Borealis. Overnight at the Scandic Grand Tromsø.
Day 3: Optional Arctic Experiences
After breakfast, choose from a selection of optional activities. Adventure seekers may join a full-day Snowmobile Safari in the Lyngen Alps (includes thermal clothing, guide, and hot soup), while January travellers can also experience Whale & Arctic Wildlife Watching, with a chance to see Orcas and Humpback Whales. In the evening, opt for an Aurora Borealis Cruise with dinner on board, sailing through Tromsø’s fjords under the winter sky. Alternatively, enjoy free time to explore Tromsø at your own pace. Overnight at the Scandic Grand Tromsø.
Day 4: Tromsø - Dublin
Breakfast at your hotel and time to relax before departure. Transfer by coach to Tromsø Airport for your direct Aer Lingus flight back to Dublin.

As your travel provided we aim to give you all of the essential information about your holiday before you agree to any contract. Information such as:
- Price based on two people sharing and includes all airport taxes and charges.
- Single room supplement €445pp. If you are travelling alone and are willing to share a twin room with another group member of the same sex, we will do our best to accommodate this request, although it cannot be guaranteed.
- A non-refundable and non-transferable deposit of €350pp is required at the time of booking.
- Balance is due 10 weeks before departure.
- Price includes one standard piece of hand luggage. Extra luggage is available to purchase prior to travel (prices may vary).
- Optional travel insurance is available (terms and conditions apply).
- City taxes may apply and are payable locally at your hotel.
- Flights, taxes, prices and itinerary are subject to change.
- Price based on a minimum of 20 paying passengers.
- Your booking is made with GTI Travel (the Organiser). You are authorising GTI Travel to act as your agent, and we will arrange for you to enter into a contract with the relevant travel service provider, including airlines, hotels, insurance companies, coach hire companies, transfer companies and destination management companies.
- You are bound by the travel provider’s terms and conditions of booking. GTI Travel acts as your agent in arranging your booking; the travel provider is the principal or agent to the principal.
