Begin your Amsterdam History Tour with a city tour from the UNESCO World Heritage canals before visiting the poignant Anne Frank House, where her famous diary was written during the war. The next day, take a guided tour of the Dutch Resistance Museum, followed by a walk through the neighbourhood that still bears traces of wartime life and resistance. Later, explore the world-renowned Rijksmuseum, home to over 8,000 historical and artistic objects telling the story of Dutch history from 1200 to today.
Your journey continues with a moving excursion to Camp Vught, where a guided tour of the Nationaal Monument provides insight into its history as a former SS concentration camp. Afterwards, visit the Jewish Quarter and Portuguese Synagogue before returning to your hotel. On your final day, explore the Rembrandt House Museum with an audio guide, then enjoy free time for shopping or sightseeing in Amsterdam, known as the ‘Venice of the North’, before transferring to the airport for your return flight home.

Board your flight to Amsterdam. Meet your coach and transfer to Amsterdam for a tour of the city from the city’s UNESCO World Heritage Status canals
Visit the Anne Frank House – site of her wartime hiding place, now a biographical museum
Evening meal then check into your hotel
Breakfast at your hotel before a guided Tour of the Dutch Resistance Museum followed by a tour through the neighbourhood which will show traces of the war & the resistance in Amsterdam
Visit the Rijksmuseum where 8,000 artistic & historical objects tell the story of 800 years of Dutch history from the year 1200 to date
Evening meal then overnight at your hotel
