Day 1: Airport Santiago – Vilalba

Fly from Dublin to Santiago and begin your Camino de Santiago journey with a seamless transfer from Santiago Airport to the charming town of Vilalba. Nestled in the heart of Galicia, Vilalba is the perfect starting point for your pilgrimage, offering rich cultural heritage and picturesque landscapes.

Day 2: Walk from Vilalba To Baamonde (19 km)

Embark on your first walking day from Vilalba to Baamonde, covering 19 km through the lush Galician countryside. After a rewarding day, enjoy a comfortable transfer back to Vilalba, where you can relax and prepare for the next leg of your journey.

Day 3: Baamonde, Miraz To Roxica & Sobrado de los Monjes

Start your day with a transfer to Baamonde, then trek 24 km through the scenic path over Miraz to Roxica. In the evening, transfer to your accommodation in the historic Sobrado de los Monjes, home to the stunning Sobrado Abbey.

Day 4: Transfer, Walk Roxica & Sobrado Monastery

After a transfer back to Roxica, enjoy a serene 17 km walk to Sobrado de los Monjes. Discover the spiritual ambience of this ancient monastic site, a highlight of the Camino de Santiago.

Day 5: Walk From Sobrado De Los Monjes To Arzua (22 km)

Journey 22 km from Sobrado de los Monjes to the vibrant town of Arzua, known for its delicious local cheese. This leg of the Camino de Santiago offers a mix of historical sites and beautiful natural scenery.

Day 6: Walk From Arzua To Arca (20 km)

Experience the rich culture and landscapes of Galicia as you walk 20 km from Arzua to Arca. This stage of the Camino de Santiago takes you through quaint villages and lush forests, reflecting on the region’s unique charm.

Day 7: Walk From Arca To Santiago (20 km)

Conclude your pilgrimage with a 20 km walk from Arca to Santiago de Compostela. Arriving at the iconic Santiago Cathedral, a UNESCO World Heritage site, is a momentous occasion for every Camino de Santiago pilgrim.

Day 8: Free Day

Enjoy a free day in Santiago de Compostela, exploring its historic centre, vibrant markets and the awe-inspiring Santiago Cathedral. This UNESCO World Heritage site attracts over 300,000 pilgrims annually, offering a rich tapestry of cultural experiences.

Day 9: Free Day

Take another day to delve deeper into Santiago de Compostela’s rich history, museums and culinary delights. Wander the cobbled streets, visit the local shops and absorb the spiritual atmosphere that defines this pilgrimage destination.

Day 10: Travel Home

End your Camino de Santiago adventure with a convenient transfer to Santiago Airport. Reflect on your journey and the unforgettable experiences gained along Europe’s most famous pilgrimage route.
